InterConnect & Connect Ensembles

Along with our new training orchestra RHYO InterConnect, Nottingham Music Hub is excited to launch new small group ensembles for city pupils playing around Grade 1 Level: String Folk Connect, Guitar Connect and Salsa Jazz Connect.

RHYO InterConnect

RHYO Interconnect is for 9-14 year old pupils who can play at around Grade 1 - 4 Level. We are currently looking for new members! It's the perfect ensemble for Nottingham City pupils to make new friends and play exciting music.

For all current members of InterConnect, visit the IC Noticeboard to stay on top of all your upcoming rehearsals and events.

We have moved venues! InterConnect will now be rehearsing at:

Nottingham College City Hub,

111 Canal Street, Nottingham, NG1 7HB

Every Saturday during term-time (9:00am - 10:30am)

How To Get Here:

The building that we will use is at the back of the College near Fletchers Dining, Theatre and Events - see picture below! (We are not using the front entrance)

Walking Advice:

To access the building, please walk down Rancliffe Street, then turn left and walk to the end of Cliff Road. You should see the building from there on the left.

Support Sessions

We offer online support sessions for any InterConnect members who want to join in! Sessions are on Microsoft Teams every Wednesday from 4.15pm to 5pm

Introducing Connect Ensembles

Aimed at 9 - 14 year old pupils who have been playing their instruments for a while, these small group ensembles are designed for pupils who have progressed from Area Bands but need some support before they can join RHYO InterConnect.

Our three connect ensembles provide for a range of instruments and styles and are perfect for young people to get more confident, make new friends and become better at their instruments. This year, all our ensembles are following a blended model with live and online rehearsals. All rehearsals will be streamed live using Microsoft Teams so if you are unable to attend a session for any reason, all you need is a computer or a tablet and you can log in to be part of the music making!
