Nottingham Music Hub partnered with Light Hustle and other fantastic organisations and artists across Nottingham City to hold #Nottstopping, an incredible two-day celebration highlighting the creative culture and resilience of the city.
Nottstopping was the first ever digital festival held in Nottingham City over the bank holiday weekend, Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 May 2020. It was a massive coordination feat, including many organisations, artists and audiences that worked together to raise funds to thank frontline workers during the first Lockdown.
The music hub is delighted to have participated in the festival, which showcased an array of music, comedy and interactive art from across the city.
NMH featured a large variety of creative talent from their staff and students, alongside partner organisations, including the Young Creative Awards and the Noise Academy.
The day started off with Tequila, performed by children of key workers who were still in school at that time, their fabulous school teachers, and NMS staff. To take a look at the complete line-up, check out the Nottstopping Festival page.
