Big Give Christmas Challenge

Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023

Thank you to our amazing pledgers and donors who helped us reach this year's Big Give fundraising target! You are absoute stars.

Visit our campaign page here to see how wonderful our Nottingham community is.

All funds will go towards supporting the venue hire costs at Nottingham Contemporary, where the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra rehearses every Saturday during term-time.

A special thank you to our 8 wonderful pledgers, including Mellers Primary School and the A W Lymn Family Funeral Services. Also to the UFO Orchestra Nottingham for their generous contribution towards our target, and the individuals (Kathy, Michael and Lynda especially!) who helped us reach our target with a day to spare. We could (literally) not have done it without you.

Big Give Christmas Challenge 2022

The warmest thank you to everyone who supported us in the Big Give Christmas Challenge last year. We raised £4,240 - 85% of our target. We used the funds to buy specialist equipment that has greatly improved our provision in SEND schools as well as in schools for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, and pupils with multiple and profound disabilities.

Thank You to Our Pledgers & the Reed Foundation

A heartfelt thank you to our nine pledgers and the Big Give Champion, the Reed Foundation, for creating a matching pot of funds that was used to double all donations made in the campaign. Thank you SO much for your support!

We also want to say a very special thank you to the UFO Orchestra Nottingham for their generous £1,000 contribution to our Christmas Challenge campaign. You are all so amazing!

What is the Big Give Christmas Challenge?

The Big Give Christmas Challenge is UK's biggest online fundraising campaign. It is a 'match funding' campaign, which means that any donations made are doubled! This year, the campaign will go live on 28th November 2023 till 5th December 2023. Please save the date and help us spread the word!

“More students can engage as we now have something for everyone, no matter their individual need or disability, meaning that all my lessons are not only fully inclusive, but also inspirational and lots of fun!”
