The 5 stroke roll!

This Grade 3 rudiment is a tricky one, but once it's mastered you'll enjoy using it all the time in your playing. Start really slow until the roll becomes like one smooth movement between both hands that doesn't take much physical energy or too much thought to perform.

Once this has been mastered you'll find all sorts of great ways to incorporate the 5 stroke roll into all the other rhythms and fills you're currently playing. Enjoy!
